Shocked Discworld swap!!!! Loving all the stuff Cheesy Could we have a discworld swap in the summer at some point?! I'm Aching (sorry, vegbee's fault for starting it) to do a swap after seeing all the great swaps on these boards, but I want to get the GCSEs out of the way first (should really start revising soon). The nannyisms were perfect btw Grin

ETA: I like the Vimes Copper Badge closure on the needle roll... is it polymer clay?

Thanks.  It is poly clay with charcoal rubbed on the letter and number stamp marks and then a dry brush of copper acrylic after it baked.  I also baked in a little copper loop on the back to sew it to the roll.

Thanks.  It was really more along the lines of keep playing with it until you get something you like.  Most of my crafting is that way now that I think about it. Cheesy

I love all the stuff so far Smiley

And Phantomssiren, don't worry, your package did not vanish. It arrived safely at my home and I love it Grin.
Sadly, my internet connection did disappear for a while. But it is back now, so behold the great stuff I got:

Two Sam Vimes coffee cozies, so I never have to walk around the lab with naked coffee anymore. One says 'fabricati diem, punc' and the other 'red desert special Klatchian coffee'.
I also got a lilac Perdita cuff to show my allegiance to the Glorious People's Republic of Treacle Mine Road.

Phantomssiren also sent me two shirts.
A Feegle one:

And one for Lady Sybil's Sunshine Sanctuary for Sick Dragons, featuring the best dragon ever: Errol!  Grin
and the back:

Errol close-up:

I love everything so much  Kiss It made me twirl around my room in a very un-Vimes-like way.
I can only hope you like my package as much as I like yours. Thank you!

What a great package!  I love the way we all come up with stuff so different.

I LOVE the Vimes coffe cozys.  I'm thinking of a nannyism to put on one.  And that Errol shirt is priceless!  Great job!

I'm currently sans internet connection at home and I was going to be good and hold off posting these til lunchtime, but I couldn't wait...a little personal use of computers at work isn't THAT bad  Wink

Anyway, here's what I sent bookstorebabe:

Borrowing  Attire (aka PJs): Springtime means the bees are out so it's a good time to go Borrowing. You can wear these when you Borrow* so that people know you "aten't dead."

*or any other time you may want to stretch out with your eyes closed for a long period of time.
Carrot and Angua Magnets: Cause in Springtime "a young man's fancy lightly turns to thoughts of love."*

*And lunar cycles...Safe sex takes on a whole new meaning when your partner is a werewolf

A lilac bracelet: to commerate May 25. How Do They Rise Up?

Swamp Dragon Tote: I'd intended to letter "Don't Let My Flame Go Out" on the back, but my letter stencils are packed in a box somewhere (and even post-move I still haven't tracked them down...they'll show up sooner or later). Anyways...figured Springtime is mating season for all creatures so the Ankh Morpork Sunshine Sanctuary for Sick Dragons is probably gearing up for all kinds of new tenants and maladies.

Goodness me, how fantastic are the last two packages?! I love the Lady Sybil's Sunshine Sanctuary for Sick Dragons shirt with the cute dragon wings on the back!

The Aten't Dead jammies are fabulous, and I am in complete awe of taerowyn's stencilling skills! You will all see how un-skilled I am at cutting out even the most simplest of stencils soon, I'm sure...
