this is the first thing i ever completed knitting that wasn't a pair of socks!

i used a pattern from Lion Brand, and this baby is almost 8 feet long!!!!!  it looks kinda funny on my 5' tallness Roll Eyes

the hard part about it was making sure i kept the rows in order and whatnot!  (lifelines rule my world!)  none of the stitches were anything weird at all.  i used to make lace all the time with crochetted though, and i occasionally tat, so i kinda like the lace making Smiley

Wow! That's beautiful. What is it called on Lion Brand Website, I wish I knew about this earlier, because I'm knitting a stole myself for a wedding in a couple of weeks and would have been perfect. I'll just let your impressive work inspire me to knit another one.

thanks for all the nice compliments!  on the lion brand site, this is called "Lacy Stole" (how original!).  ps. to anyone looking to make this pattern.  it calls for 5 balls of the microspun yarn.  i used 4 and maybe a fourth of the fifth, and like i said, it is about 8' long!
