This is a gift for my nephew's 1st birthday. It's a little big & heavy for a baby blankey but he can keep it as he gets older. The colors match his nursery but should be usable beyond babyhood.

Well, I used a knifty knitter, so that made it much easier! Even so, it took forever! It's by far my most ambitious project involving yarn!

I really like this, and I think the colors are very appropriate for both baby and later. I can't believe you did that on a loom.

The colours are great! And I think it would be quite perfect for something soft to play on the floor on and can definately be something he can grow with. Heck, my aunt just gave me an afgan now at 19 in very similar colours, I could only have wished to have something so useable growing up.
