How do you keep the coin from bending and keep it so smooth. These are so beautiful. Does it take forever to make one?

when you're hammering it out keep slowly turning it so it punds out evently.. and then to get it so smooth i sand it with really fine sand paper and then polish it

hey! free therapy! Smiley
actually.. it costs about 25 cents Cheesy

I just finished(ish) making one and as other people have said, the inside isn't very smooth. I ground out the center (after boring it with a drill press) with my dremel and don't have or know where to get brasso. I also don't have any fine sandpaper. what grit did you use?

i sandpapered the inside of my ring and its super smooth.  brasso you can find at like walmart and i know every hardware store in america probably has it.  im at school right now but will be heading back today actually and i'll check on the grit of the sandpaper.  i k now it's purple if that helps lol! but probably not

cool! thanks!

funny, yet sad thing is, I can't really wear mine! It only fits on my ring fingers, my right one is where my claddagh lives and my left won't be taken up for quite a while!

I have been commissioned to make a couple for someone though, so I'll be able to use it then.
