I'm very new at crochet and I've been practicing by making 6X6 inches squares with single crochet stitches. I got that part down but it gets to be a little boring after a while. So last night I finally figured out how to crochet in circle. I was so excited. After a 2-3 hours I got this little hat made. I'm pretty proud of myself because with this hat I learned how to do double crochet stitches, change colors, increase and decrease. I'm so cool!! teehee

So, I did double crochet for the top part and did single crochet for the rest. It's not perfect but I like it!

See you around!  Cheesy

Great job.  Your stitches are all nice and even.  Love your model.  She is very pretty.

Hi Jennie! *waves*

Soon, I'd like to figure out how I can crochet a nice little dress for her.
I should do a search for Barbie crocheted dress, maybe I'll find something.

Ahw such a pretty hat. I want one of those dolls so much but they cost so much.

There will always be people who say mean words  because you are different, and sometimes their minds cannot be changed. There are many more people who do not judge others based on how they look or where they are from. THOSE are the people whose WORDS truly matter.

Your stitches look great!

Now that you can do this, you can make just about any of these cute little amigurumi animals and things you see around these forums! You'd be surprised how much can be done with single crochet in circles. :-D

Here is a listing of doll clothes patterns.
