I love the "No Fly Zone!" I was thinking along these lines (although I didn't think to use her actual logo!), but then my color printer died, so I changed plans.

I love looking at all of the different interpretations/representations of the theme!

But, I hate to break it to you all...I actually MUST clean my house in time for Easter! So, I have been eyeing certain areas and mentally gauging the time it will take...more than I have, I fear!

So, can anyone say, "Hide it in Rubbermaid totes?" Good thing Easter only comes once a year... Wink

Yeah, DS is having friends over for his 15th birthday (on FRIDAY), so I, too, am cleaning. I strongly suspect, though, that whatever "progress" I make will be gone by Easter. Tongue

 Angry
Everytime I think I've got everything I need to post pictures, something's missing.
I have pictures, but can't find my digital camera cable now.
It's driving me batty.

So I'm going to do my best to describe the awesome things bbonnn sent.

In no particular order:

Two etched rocks glasses.  She added the Scattegories logo to one side of each glass.  They're really sweet.  Unfortunately one broke on its journey.  Each item came with a swell 50s-ish image and some clever sayings.  This one reads: " "I may be throwing up in the bushes, but my GLASSWARE is LOGO-Tabulous."  For the modern gal who loves a good game of Scattegories, but is plagued by an inconvientient lack of appropriately themed whiskey glasses, we have THE ANSWER."  I do love whiskey.

The funniest (I can't describe them as awesomest, because, well, it's a hard contest) item was a set of three magnets.  Its description reads: " "I never knew a love as strong and pure as un-burnt toast!"  Use these advanced scientifically designed EDUCATIONAL MAGNETS to learn common household items.  Soon all the housewives on your block will be wondering how you keep you husband so blissfully happy."  What are the common household items?  A toaster, a container of dishsoap, and a plunger.  I OWN A PLUNGER MAGNET AND IT IS AWESOME.  They're handpainted wooden ovals with 1/2 magnets on the back.  The other two magnets are cool, but the plunger magnet rules all.

She also sent a journal, blue painted cover, with a carefully drawn quail on the glossy front.  It is adorable.  It's 4" by 8" or so.  Its description includes "Twitter away frivolously in these pages, and leave the havy thinkin' to the Man in Your Life."

And how do I describe the wonderfulness that is the REVERSIBLE APRON bbonnn made?  It's got a tie, it's gathered.  It's black with an appliqued and painted martini glass on one side - I love that fabric and that applique.  The other side is white with blue speckles and AN APPLIQUED UMBRELLA!

THANK YOU BBONNN!  If you have pictures, feel free to post.  I'll try to be a good housewife type and unpack all my camera parts  Tongue and give some action shots or something.

I hope you get your package today.

One of the glasses broke? That SUCKS!

So-called bubble wrap manufacturers, I'm glaring at YOU.  Angry Also at the postal service, who are on my revenge list already due to their placing a drive-up mailbox right in the path of a very well traveled bike lane, resulting in frequent near-crashes (and one actual crash) with cars whose drivers aren't paying attention to bikes as they focus on whatever it is they're reaching down on the floor to pick up and put in the box while talking on the phone.

Oh well, the exclusive and coveted club of Scattergories glasses owners just got a little more exclusive. Totally mismatched glassware is way cooler than semi-mismatched anyway.

Thanks for posting the kindly descriptions.

When I get home tonight, I'll post the pix I took before I handed the package over to the killers of dreams.

OK, 'tis a little late around here on account-a I had a work offsite that involved bowling and beer, so please pardon my brevity and possible misspellings, but without further ado, here are pix of stuff:

Scattergories whiskey glass(es), one extant:

Apron - the martini glass side (adorned with irremovable cat hair - sorry about that, the little buggers are magically drawn to all black fabric in the house):
