this makes me think of the simpsons episode where marge introduces lisa to quilting.  marge had made a block that said "keep on trucking" (or was it "keep on keeping on"...i can't remember now).  it was a cute episode and a great inspiration for generational quilting.

"If school results were the key to power, girls would be running the world."
-- Sarah Boseley
Then add a line to the effect of "So run the world!"

It seems like most of the girl quotes I know are more adult, cynical sorts; it's hard to find inspirational quotes that are both True and Optomistic/Innocent/nice for kids.....

The only thing I can really think of is "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun," but actually that might suit your purposes pretty well.   Smiley  Please tell us what you decide on.

Behind every man is a great woman trying to get around him!

My mom realized:  Why do women have 'big butts'?  So they can be easily followed!

Future President

Unfortunatly I agree with an earlier post-most saying I know are for adults, for example-"A woman's place is in the House-and Senate."
I'd go with something like "Girls Rule!" myself.Short, sweet, not too hard for a little one,and when you think about it all the long winded adult ones boil down to the same message.I think it's so cool you're making this for her.Good luck.

This might be a little long, but:
