Yay, my sewing machine cover got picked as a finalist in the Softie Awards (cozy category)!!!  Please go and take a look at the great softies that people made and vote for your favorites (there are 12 categories).

I've been sewing a lot recently and have been looking at some really cool sewing covers here and elsewhere.  So I finally made one for my trusty sewing machine.

I wanted the front to look like a modern house.  The flowers are embroidered.

and here it is packed and ready to go!

That is a darling cover.  I like how the decorative panel is also functional.  Nice embroidery, too.

what an awesome idea to do storage pockets on the front!  And it's beautiful too!

My sewing machine has a hard case type thing that it came in... and I simply pile all my sewing goodies on top of the machine and inside and then put the cover on... sometimes when I take it off, half the stuff comes pouring out... so your idea is so excellent!
