i was wondering if the straps were kinda short for the rest of you?  cause when i was knitting them, i made them a few inches longer than what the book asked for and it's still too short for my taste.

this was my first intarsia project...so i wanted an easy pattern to do.  domo-kun seemed to be at my level since the only thing i had worry about was his mouth...and only the red i did in intarsia, his teeth i stitched on there (too scared to put in a third color).

i was also kinda curious if the backpack could stand felting?  cause then he'd look more domo-ish, dontcha think?

Lurrrrrve the Domo-kun backpack!  I am completely obsessed with the little guy . . . do you have a chart, or did you do it freestyle?

the chart was really simple, cause i just took the existing one from stitch n' bitch and blocked out the mouth.  i could always put up the pattern if anyone is interested.  he's a lot simpler to do w/intarsia cause all you have to mess w/is only the red for his mouth.  oh yeah, he's also a little bit smaller than what the book asked for...that was a mistake, teh heh.

but thanks for the welcome comments!

i would sell him if i ever decide on making more...i need a faster way to make the lining (read - sewing machine, lol).

I was thinking of making this, and now I know I have to---yours is so cool! I love the brown. What type of yarn did you use?
