Hi Smiley This is my first weaving project - I used a mixture of different colored mohair, silks, tulle and felt for the weave, & embrodiered a bird design ontop with different patterned fabrics. I painted and decorated the frame with berries, fake flowers, leaves, a butterfly and a little mushroom to finish it off!

That is gorgeous!  Shocked

The colors are great, and I love how you finished the project with the bird and the adorable frame.

This is really amazing.  You are a very talented artist.  I do have a question.  I was wandering if you are in school right now.  I am thinking that you must be, or if not you definitely should be.  Thanks.  You are completely fabulous!

I love it! All the different fibers remind me of a bird nest, esp. with the bird. Colorful and gorgeous...you should feel proud! Grin

Do you know how completely and utterly envious I am of you at this present moment?  I so wish that my first weaving project turned out that amazing.

Great job
