i finished a little quilt top for the neo-natal unit of the ottawa hospital. our quilt guild members make the little cuddle quilts and they get donated to the hospital on our behalf for the little babies. so yeah here's the first one i did. and i plan to make one a month as my little way of giving back. and i have tons of fabric so why not use it for a good cause. there were just a buch of little bits i had. the whole thing is 2 feet square

go do something for someone else. quick run. Cheesy

edit: made the pic a bit bigger.

Very cute!  I can't believe you'll be doing one a month!  That's so awesome!  You sound like a very giving person!  Smiley

You're making teeny babies happy and also the parents, hospital staff and volunteers who snuggle with them!  You're acknowledging the suffering and the struggles of others and that's a very brave thing to do.

when my daughter was born she spent a month in the NICU at lucille packard children's hospital at stanford. you wouldn't believe how much comfort it gave me to see the little quilts that had been donated for the babies. it actually inspired me to take up quilting so that i can do the same for others. now i'm just waiting for christmas and my promised sewing machine and quilting stuff from my mother-in-law. point being, props to you! it's a cute quilt and i'm sure it will help to give some light to parent who's baby is sick.  Cheesy
