i am new to knitting and I have finally finished something besides a scarf or cali... a fat little hat!

so I followed the berroco twosome pattern --> http://www.berroco.com/exclusives/twosome/twosome.html beaucse I wanted something easy and slouchy, but this is what I ended up with...

docuhebaggy action-shot

and here's a back/side view

hopefully the pictures are small... stupid photobucket...

i used paton's shetland chunky and 7's for the ribbing and 8's for the rest ... meh
i'm not a huge fan, looks like many of my thrifty-found hats that I already own, but my boyfriend loves it so I figured no harm done!
yay! I finished something!

Lovely hat, great hair, and awesome use of the word "huzzah!"

I think it looks fantastic. I recently finished my first hat, and I get a geeky little kick every time I wear it. I mean, even if no one else knows, you're wearing something that you knit yourself. But then, I'm the type to get all caught up in the history of it all.

Great job! (It looks great with your hair)

thanks guys! such nice comments (and hair comments, too... those are always good!)

the day after I finished it the weather got super nice and was like 50... so much for wearing my new hat!
