My first vessel! I'm so proud.   Grin  (there's a glass with water hidden inside, holding the flowers.)

Oh, wow, that's stunning! Love the color choices (and flowers - used some of those at my wedding)!

Wonderful.  Agree, the colors of the vessel and the flowers are beautiful together.
The swerling colors and the texture of the vessel is gorgeous.

I am posting again to mention that I am admiring this for a second time.  Wink

I am so thrilled to see that you included a glass vase inside for real flowers.  Grin
this makes me happy on a grey rainy day.

Wow! That is beautiful!  Love how you included locks as part of the design! Did you use the balloon method?  Ive always wanted to try that!

Thank you all for the kind words. I loved this vessel, it brightened my house so much, but sadly it has been sold and has gone on to live with someone else.

Laamissa - yes, I used the balloon method! I think I'll try shaping it a little more next time, so it doesn't look quite so much like... a balloon. Wink

yes, I used the balloon method!
Hello
I've made felt vessels in the past using tins, wood block, plastic bowls... anything that can take a beating and a steaming! Cheesy
But I've never used a balloon! What kind of balloon? I've always wanted to make something with a wide body and small aperture.
Also, do you find that something shaped with steam does not necesarily keep its shape very well?
Thnks
