So, I'm looking to possibly set up shop in Union Square (where else?) once the weather gets nice to sell some jewelry. I've spoken to a couple people about a NYC street vendors license but have not yet learned too much. Apparently it takes an extremely long time after applying for a license.

Has anyone had any experience with this? Would you be able to give me some info about what type of license you applied for or know of?

all i know is that there's a wait (of like years) list and veterans get priority.

that's the same thing I heard LuLu. The city apparently has a cap on the number of vendors they'll permit, which has of course been reached. I suppose a new license is issued every time one isn't renewed?
