Nothing in my life is logical so thus I felt the need to knit something that didn't make any logic either.

The pattern and details are on my blog:
http://mmandmyy.blogspot.com/2007/03/nothing-makes-sense-hand-warmers.html

ETA:
These were so successful that I wanted to knit a pair of socks to match. I made the cuffs match so that you could hide the non matching ness if you wanted to. They were knit entirely in one day of walking around Seattle. (See the picture of me and George Bush to prove it).

Those are adorable!
I really like handwarmers and such, but they're always so bulky, I find. Yours look nice and slim, so perhaps I'll give them a try.

Then we should feed our jewelry to the sea
For diamonds do appear to be

I know what you mean about the bulky hand warmers. These are pretty slim beacuse there made out of sock yarn.
