I'm such a geek...

My SO keeps ruining any paperback books he takes to work with him, so he asked me to make him something to protect his books (specifically his lovely shiny signed Neil Gaimen book)

I, being a librarian/bookshop manager, relished the idea of making a knitted book, it seemed somehow just so fitting... As 2 friends have already said "it's the most 'Jen' that anything could be..."

- Inside the front cover

- Inside the back cover, it's adjustable, so he can use it for different books...

I'm stupidly proud of it, more so because he loves it and keeps showing it of to friends (in the pub, at work, random strangers on the train...)

Edit: to include images, rather than links

This is a great idea!  Even better if you want to shield the title of your book from prying eyes on the Metro. Smiley

Love it!  Great idea for those books that you KNOW you're going to love before you read them...I always tend to spill stuff!  Looks great...might have to copy  Grin

That's really awesome. I could really use one of those, as could a bunch of people on here.

Yes, definitely. Why do people always have to know what you're reading? Gah, it's annoying.

I LOVE it. I have so many paperback books (I tend to read series... I have 20 books from one series alone.... not to mention the 12 more I have to buy...)  Do you have a pattern? It looks simple enough, but with my luck, I'd end up with a bag. Smiley
