I don't know if this kind of holder have been showed before! But I find it very easy and simple.

Things you need:

-Glue
-Black fabric
-Black Paint
-Foam
-Cardboard
-Photo frame

1-Paint one side of cardboard with black paint (wait until it's dry)
2-Glue foam by other side
3-Cover foam and cardborad with fabric (a bit tight) and staple it at back. First I add some glue through edges, but staples are enough.
4-Finally glue the back part of a frame, and, voil! You have a fluffy holder to hold earrings, bracelets.. what you want!!!

If fabric is thin or porous you can put earring directly through fabric holes, if not, use pins to hold your jewelry.

Excuse me for my english, really awful I know, anyway I hope to be useful with this tutorial.

Looks good!  You can also use window screen mesh to fill the frame.  Just staple-gun it to the back of the frame, trim off any excess, and you're set.  Even quicker than using fabric, foam and cardboard.  Add some screw-eyes and a ribbon on the top, and you can hang it from a hook on the wall.

RAAAARAH!
