thanks for all the kind words!  i wont be really good at explaining how the pockets were made...i'll try...they're made up of the bigger front piece with the sides cut out and then two pieces as the back of the pocket/side of the dress and then two smaller pieces for the interior of the pocket.  kinda like when you make regular pockets, but just scooped some of the front out...i hope that makes sense.  ahaha..sorry.  i am really proud of this b/c it is one of the first dresses i made without a pattern or just trying to copy something else i saw.  thanks again!

It turned out really lovely. I love the design of the dress itself and the color and the brads. It also looks great on you. I enjoyed your purses on the wall, too! Great work designing.
