I got my "Q" from annette today! "Q" is for "quiet"!



Thanks, annette; it's a great card! I can tell that you used colored pencil...is it all hand drawn, or did you color over a photograph? I love the way it looks, and I'm a bit frustrated that I can't figure out your technique.

i'm glad you got it and like it!  i am not a great representational artist--drawing is cartoony for me, at best.  for this, i printed out a very light digital photo and colored over the top with prismacolor pencil and silver sharpie.  most of what's there is there in the photo, though i did punch it up a little. 
i'm a sucker for all things librarian--i like to say i have a master's degree is shushing.

Also, jan_on_ice and I did a little personal swap within this swap to finish up our alphabets! Here are the E for Envy and D for Daddy Long Legs cards she sent. They are both lovely, but were hard to photo for some odd reason!
