I figured there had to be a few fellow traveling craftsters out there that have the same probs I tend to have.
I was inspired by some of the other post on here about show booth set up.
I tend to rarely ever show in my home state. So I have to fly to and from events with my stock and sometimes tables and chairs plus booth set up ect.
I was wondering how some of you deal with traveling long distances with your work and what type of boot set up you have to bring for that as opossed to a say you can drive 30 min too?
Like I'd love to get one of these but 2000.00 is a little pricy for booth acoutrments
So I wondering some of the creative ways folks on here have made their booth look nice, have nice displays ect and be able to be packed small enough to get them back on or off say a flight or a long drive in a car with small space?
Like I'd love to get some little stands or popup that you can put on your booth to break up the height and space of the booth but allot of times there is no way because I'd have to pack it in 2 MORE suitcases and they only let you have what 3 pieces of luggage limit  as it is
Any tips would be great helps on how to make up a whole BOOTH at a event as opossed to a table with items that are small enough to travel with

Do you need a cute purse to go with that outfit?

I have to drive everywhere and my car isn't that big.  My husband made a display rack for me out of PVC pipes.  I sell purses so I hang them on the rack.  Everything pulls apart and then I slip it into a bag that looks like a yoga mat bag.  He color coded it with tape so that I know which parts go together.  It is so easy to set up.

Not sure if this is something you would use or not.  Just let me know if you would like to see pictures and I can post some later.

I'm interested in personal swaps -- I love bracelets & necklaces and I don't know how to make them.

I thought about something like that too.I see mainly dolls but some of them are small enough to pin against a background, and I also sell jewelry and things like t-shirts.So sometimes having a back space to put stuff like that on would be helpful.
Yea you totally should post pic's I'm sure others on here would like to check it out also.Because lets face it nobody on here in their right mind is going to pay 2000.00 for one of those tradeshow setups.

I bought some of those wire cubes that are often used in kids rooms(i got mine at walmart for like $15).  when you take them apart, they're flat.  I used them at my show in Austin and it worked great!

this is what I did at Stitch:

Hey, that wire cube idea is great!  I did a few shows and always had the problem of everything looking too flat on my table!  Thanks for the tip.
