I've been crocheting for about a year now, finally started following my first patten. A Lion Brand one. Only problem was I am on a budget and had to use cheap yarn. Well before I knew it I modified the pattern for use of cheaper yarn, changed alot around so now I guess it's kind of my own patten. A Lion Brand knock off. LOL!

Anyways here it is, if anyone wants my modified patten let me know!

The purse being modeled by a lovely doorknob . . .

The lining with cell phone and iPod pockets.

Very cute.   I like the lining and how it closes with the button.  Smiley  It looks to be a nice size too.

It doesn't actually close with the button, it's just there to look like it does LOL! I have magnetic snaps underneath it. I'm a purse snap girl, I'm terrified of zippers.

Beautiful!  I always looking for cheap and pretty yarns to substitute in projects too.  I would love a tut if you don't mind and what kind of yarn did you use?

I used plain old Red Heart yarn. You could also try Simply Soft or Bernat Softee Chunky.

I'll post the modified pattern tonight.

Ooohhh that is so pretty and I like the lining and how you got the pockets for your phone and iPod. Great job for a first time pattern. Since you did make so many changes I guess it is your pattern great job.
