The fact that I work at Target drives me nuts LOL!  Whenever stuff in domestics or seasonal goes on clearance, I find myself going thru the fabrics thinking "Oh my goodness, that's a beautiful piece of fabric...can a make a dress/purse/something out of it?"

So, here's a bamboo placemat that went on clearance last week for .97 cents.  Stay tuned for the construction of the purse...cause I wanna make something like this--

I also used to work at Target and before going to HQ was ALWAYS buying clearance stuff for projects (drove the hubby nuts).  I can't wait to see the completed project - you got a great deal!

My husband was just showing me something and saw those over my shoulder.  He just said...  "Oooh, you should make THOSE!"  I was thinking the exact same thing!  Do you think you're going to have to hand sew in lining?  Ugh!  I think I'll wait to see how yours turns out before I attempt one!   Grin

Definately do that project! How cute!  I am getting to be of the opinion that just about anything can become a purse!
