Here is a new cowl neck top I made, ive posted a red and a grey one before.

Then I also made this top here. It is made from purple and white striped knit and some other knit that is either purple or brown I cant tell!!

Here is a top I made with some really ugly floral fabric I found at a garage sale..

And this one is reconstructed from a really large mens T I found at value village.

I saw both the red and grey cowl tops that you made and I must say, I am deathly in love with both. Pink isn't my favorite color, but that top is GORGEOUS. I'm really impressed with all your other work as well, you have amazing talent. Rock on!

Wickedly sweet tops! I particularly like the short sleeves in the last one. I love those kind! How did you go about making them? From what I can see, they don't really look short sleeves with separate seams and all that, but more like you sewed up the sides of the tee and left a hole for your arms and added a cuffs. Am I anywhere close?

Cute. Nothing wrong with sticking with a tried-and-true design.

You sew beautifully!  Everything looks very polished and professional.  Great designing, too.  I love everything you've posted.

For the last shirt I just cut off the sleeves and then like you said sewed up the sides and left holes for the arms. Then  I added cuffs. The shirt was so big that the shoulder seams are quite big so it makes for cute little cap sleeves!

I think the first two tops are my favorites. How do you come up with ideas for the shirts? They look so unique!

I draw inspiration from other DIYers like supayana, theturtlemaggie, spicy toast, thevintagedoctor, postlapsaria, papaya, and others. I started off copying their clothes completely (I never sold the copies) just so that I could try and figure out how they made them, then I made my own designs from there.
