I got a wonderful package from xladyluckx today!! It really made my day to see this lovely box waiting for me in the mail box.... She sent me fabulous buttons & ribbons & freezer paper (yeah!), and magazines (whohoo!) and best of all, this darling, generous girl sent me not just _an_ embroidery kit... but the embroidery kit from sublime stitching!

I received today, from the thoughtful and generous Raynbow!
First, there was cross stitch fabrics - Aida cloth, some waste canvas (so i can cross stitch  on something like my tote or a sweatshirt), and some wonderful linen (which i have to find the right project for, to do it justice!  Also in this picture is a fun bookmark (already in use)made from woven gum wrappers - remember making chains of them as a kid?  i love it!

then, she gifted me with a how to felt soap kit - so there was a felted soap, another that was ready for felting (in the stocking, with an explanation of how to do it), and some roving and another soap so i can try it myself, which I'm definitely going to do!

and the best for last, of course!  she crocheted me a bun cover/snood, in a wonderfulo navy blue - and when i first PM'd Raynbow to thank her, I looked over everything on my table, thanked her, and realized I had forgotten the snood because it was already in my hair!  the crochetwork is beautiful!

Raynbow, thank you so much - for the time, the care, and the thoughtfulness you put into this package for me!

That snood looks way better in that picture than it did in person!

I hate having my picture taken!!
I'll see if I can have a co-worker take a shot tomorrow - that way I can make sure it's shown to it's best advantage...

But if taking a picture breaks my camera, it's YOUR fault!  Wink
