ok it must just be me, I can't get anywhere on this site, it keeps taking around in circles and nowhere near the covers.  Help me please. Cry Huh
It tells me if I want more information to click on the link below and that tells me about electronic shopping carts, I so frustrated.

Whew, I'm back... it's scary out there in the world of 'free shopping cart cover patterns'. Those women are not giving the pattern up unless you shell out 10 dollars, some on other forums were downright nasty about it.  Here is a site for one-
shoppingcartcoverpa ttern.com
I also saw that you can get them on ebay.
I'm sure you can figure it out pretty easy. next trip to the grocery store, take some measurements. Heck, maybe I'll give it a whirl.

good luck

Thanks ilovepaper, I've done the search thing to and I'm starting to think that instead of covering the germs and nasties on shopping carts it would be easier to disinfect the child when we get home Undecided.
You know it's a wonder we survied the germs of childhood.  Maybe I'll just try to wing it and measure the cart and hack and stich. Cheesy

Hey Crafty Mommas!
I actually *have* the pattern, but have yet to make it. I bought it on ebay months and months ago. I think the woman (Ally'sgoodies ?) is a work at home mom, just trying to make a living, so she may be touchy about giving it out for free. . .  I think it was reasonably priced, I got it for something like 12 dollars including shipping. I also think she will make one for you, if you purchase fabric.

Anyhoo, as I confessed earlier, I haven't yet used the pattern. What's up with that? Don't I care at all about the health of my child?? (There was actually a scary news story about this issue, but hey . . . don't get me started on fearmongering). Truth be told, I looked at the pattern and all the umph went out of me.  This is not to say that it's a bad pattern, it just *appeared* to be more work than I was ready to expend. (I can sometimes be a lazybones, but to toot my own horn I did spend an inordinate amount of time on the halloween costumes; but that's another post.) Perhaps this thread has inspired me to pull out that pattern and whip it up. That way I can write a decent and fair review based on something more than my detailed reading of the picture Cheesy  We'll see.
Take care,
