Not sure if this is the best place for this topic, but I did use paper! I recently decoupaged a boring clipboard I had laying around. The detail was added with sharpies. I love the way it turned out ... unfortunately my daughter has hijacked it so I don't get to look at it that often! The photos are slightly crooked as I was trying to minimize a viscious flash glare.

Here is the front:

And here is the back:

This is gorgeous!

What did you use to adhere the papers? Is there a protective coating on top?

LOTS of Modge Podge. I layed the background papers down with it, and then used shapes that I cut out of paper that had been run through my Xyron 900, so that was quicker with the adhesive already on the back. Then I did two coats of MP over it because the sharpies work better on a smooth surface. Once all the detail work was done, I did a final coat of MP.

Thanks to everyone for looking, and the kind comments. It was a lot of fun to make.

You drew everything else with sharpies?!  Shocked I can't believe I'm still surprised by everyone's craftiness here, but I am! That is gorgeous! I can only wish I was as crafty as all of you!  Undecided
