I had shown ya'll my last ball gown a few months back, this is the most recent I'm a little pissed that this is the only picture of me in it from that night, hoping some of our friends got a better shot of me in it.

I really like it! Very brave neckline as well, bet you were the most popular girl there:P I love how you used that fabric for a ball gown, not something you usually see.

Very creative dress.  I like it.  You pull it off very well. I've seen my fair share of military ball outfits and yours is cool.   Usually it's the overly puffy housewives trying to dress like they are going to prom or be someone's bridesmaid.  Be proud.

Thank you! I really wanted to do something different (had to make my dress regardless so decided it might as well be a fun one)

The fabric is really very neat in person, it has metallic threads woven into it so it sparkles in the light and it's very fluid.  Though I did cheat and line it with T-shirt fabric just to keep warm lol.  Not to mention how comfortable the jersey made it.  LOL

Thanks!  I'm really thrilled with how it turned out (and amazingly I didn't expose myself the entire evening!  I did make a set of pasties just in case but managed to keep from having the dress fall off me)

Thank you!  This has only been my second ball but I know exactly what you mean about the prom obsession, this year there were more cinderella's than I could shake my magic wand at lol.

I really am quite self concsious about my size, It doesn't help that the hubby pulled me close to him so I'm kind of at a weird angle.   It makes my shoulders look wider than they are and my hips/waist look more narrow than I really am) You can't see it but he did the approporiate male thing and threw his hand on my rear and turned me into him.  (my arm is blocking that, but I swear every picture of he and I together that's where his hand ends up)  LOL  Thank you again :X
