Yay! I've recieved!

From jezebel_1982:

I loved the little notes and stories with each of the yarns. I stole this idea for when I sent out. I also squeeled when I saw the silver edging.

From TwiztidBlood:

I love the sparkly strand and how each yarn was a different width.

From Velvet Rose:

I love the ribbon and all of the different textures.

Thank you so much ladies. These yarns are perfect for my "mermaid" scarf!

Pretty yarns! I'm loving the variety.

I've got to post pictures of the AMAZING loot I've scored from peachcake, LUBEE, highway16, and Leeska. You ladies totally rock!  Grin

Knitwit, how do you take such good pictures of yarn? I'm such a terrible photographer! :-D Here is my dismal picture of some actually very pretty yarn & ribbon!

I'll have to edit when I'm home tonight to pair the right partner's names with the yarn. :-)

Thanks! Here's what I do to take pictures of yarn:

1. I always take pictures outside in natural light if I can help it. The flash messes with color.

2. I use something flat and simple and light as a backdrop whenever possible.

3. I take a minute to arrange the stuff being photographed (not as much as I should, frankly)

4. Take a bunch of pictures with different settings, angles, zoom, etc.

5. Pick the best photo and crop it before posting.

That's it! A "real" photographer would probably laugh at me. But that's what I do.  Wink
