i made these for my 2 best friends for xmas a few years ago,





made up the pattern myself, sewed pony beads and weaved ribbon in between. i just found the pattern in the notebook i write my patterns in, i'm going to alter it a little and make more.

Those are cool!
I think they'd be cool with a little like lace patten in between, or a YO, k2tog to create the wholes for the ribbon. Just MHO though...

lol i thought of that too....after they were done!
wish i would have thought of that during, those beads were so aggrivating to sew on!
next batch will definately have yo k2tog involved!

Beads is a great idea! I have been trying to make something knitted with lace, but I always think the lacing pulls the knitting in a weird way, but this should do....
