I needed new shirts, but didn't want to spend any money so I created some new stuff from my old band shirts. I had stopped wearing them because they shrunk in the wash, or I just realized that the sleeves fit weird, or it fit funny. Now they're new(er) and awesome.


I added fabric to the sides to enlarge it


Then I added a sash to the side, because who doesn't want a cute sash???





My mates of state became corsetesque


I turned this one into a saucy button-down



I'm really happy with them. I wish it was warm so I could wear my new mates of state shirt.

Hey, they look awesome! I don't suppose you could get some more photos up so we can see a full view of the shirts instead of little snippets

I didn't sew the buttons on. What I did was find an old button down shirt and cut the collar, and the button area away from the rest of the shirt and sewed it onto the purple one.
