I needed new shirts, but didn't want to spend any money so I created some new stuff from my old band shirts. I had stopped wearing them because they shrunk in the wash, or I just realized that the sleeves fit weird, or it fit funny. Now they're new(er) and awesome.

I added fabric to the sides to enlarge it

Then I added a sash to the side, because who doesn't want a cute sash???

My mates of state became corsetesque

I turned this one into a saucy button-down

I'm really happy with them. I wish it was warm so I could wear my new mates of state shirt.

Comments and critiques please!

They all look great!

I love the idea of putting normal button-down bit in a t-shirt! Very creative.

Hey, they look awesome! I don't suppose you could get some more photos up so we can see a full view of the shirts instead of little snippets  Huh

I'm tempted to do something similar with my shirts too (why do they always shrink in the wash huh!)

Take care

Very cool.  I especially love the waist tie and corset detail.

Yeah sure. Did you want me to do detailed shots too? That might make it easier to see how it was done.

I didn't sew the buttons on. What I did was find an old button down shirt and cut the collar, and the button area away from the rest of the shirt and sewed it onto the purple one.  Cheesy
