I've always had a studio/art/craft room, but I had a HUGE drafting table, so it basically filled the whole room and became a mountain of supplies. Wink

I emptied the whole room out & started fresh!  I gave away tons of supplies on Freecycle this week.

The paint is "suede" by Sherwin-Williams - http://www.sherwin-williams.com/do_it_yourself/painting_techniques/faux_painting_process/softsuede/ and the ceiling is dark grey, which apparently is creepy to some people. Cheesy

We're going to put a small futon on the right wall, but haven't found "the perfect one" yet.

Standing in the doorway.

Wall to the right.

I have a horrible habit of buying tissue paper all the time.  I used 4 dowel rods & 2 plant hangers to make a rack.  If I can see what I have at all times, I'm less inclined to purchase more. Cheesy

I used wire building cube storage racks from Meijer to store supplies.  I swear they are like Legos & Lincoln Logs for adults - too much fun. Grin

Corner to the left.

I mounted the "workspace" shelves at all different heights, but they are all fitted to my posture and the adjustable drafting chair.  I have a bad back, so this was VERY important.

The room is pretty small, so I used 1 quart paint cans to hang supplies/tools I use often...from the ceiling.

I used 1 gallon paint cans from Home Depot to hold supplies on the wall.  Well...and my favorite penguins. Wink

Back corner.

I share my space with our pet lizard, Clinton (we made the closet into his habitat).

When I'm using spray adhesives or anything with an odor, I use the shower curtain to block most of the fumes from Clinton.  I like to think he really appreciates my efforts. Cheesy Grin

Good Lord, girl!  That's a lot of yarn for someone who doesn't knit/crochet!  Cheesy

Anyway, you know I'm extremely jealous and everything looks great!

I've never had tidy loot!  I'm gonna be on a mission to keep it that way now. Cheesy

It's soooo clean right now.  I even used a finish restorative on the floors... I went a little crazy. Grin

Ha - I don't crochet or knit! Cheesy  I got all that yarn from one person on Freecycle.  I've given some away, but I don't have the heart to get rid of it all.  I am trying to learn to knit - it's just not going very well. Wink
