It takes up so much space when it's all fluffed out!  I had no idea what I was gonna do with it.   I'm glad it compacts so nicely...

i am so times infinity impressed. i especially like the paint buckets. and converting the closet into a lizard habitat is a great idea- i bet it would work well for birds, too. i would suggest using a fan too when you use stinky stuff- unless you seal his habitat, the stuff will get in there for sure.
maybe one day i will have such a fabulous crafty room.

I like the paint cans because they aren't expected.  I have a tabletop lamp that I think I'm going to hang from the ceiling in the one corner.  It's obviously not meant to be hung from the ceiling, but I think it will look neat!  It will be above where the tissue paper rack is.  I used to have a tall floor lamp there, but I don't want anything else on the floor than already is in there.  I'll start to feel cramped!

I open the window & use a fan there when I'm doing stinky stuff.  The room is always pretty hot because of his heat lamps, so opening the window a bit doesn't even phase the temp.   I heard him sneeze once (SO cute!) and I knew it was time to vent the room out more...heh.

Here's photos of the inside...we have a smaller guy in there now.  We did the cage a few years ago.  I painted the back wall and we did the ladder, shelving, doors (they used to be louvered), lighting in the ceiling, etc.




The room was a nursery previously.. I had Winnie the Pooh murals painted on the walls.   I'm headed out, but I'll post pix when I get home.  It was VERY different!
