I found this forum while searching for stuff to sew!  I decided to join and to show off a christening gown I designed.  It is Ivory Crepe-Back Satin with details of ivory lace and organza, french seams throughout and a matching bonnet.  I was very happy with my first custom design hand drafted pattern.  I put some pictures here:
