So here is some of the stuff I've made over the last week or so.

This one is my absolute fave!!!! I love it sooo much, I've already worn it twice. It is made from an old grey t-shirt and an old pink t-shirt. I'm thinking about putting a pocket on the front, but I'm not sure.

This one is another t-shirt recon. It is made from and old black t-shirt which was enormous, and a pink t-shirt which was too small. I love the print on the front. It's not completely finished though, I'm going to add a strip of the pink fabric to the neckline (If that makes sense?!?)

Here is a skirt that I made from an old bedsheet. I found it at a thrift shop and thought the pattern was really cool, so I bought it and turned it into this!

This pink dress I didn't do a whole lot to. I really loved the fabric but it was just a little bit too short for a 13 yr old to wear out!!!! So I added the pink tule at the bottom and now it's super cute!!!!!

Comments/suggestions always appreciated. Please tell me what you think!!! Cheesy

P.S I'm 13 Grin Grin Grin

Wow, thanks so much!!!

you are excellent at reconstructing! you should make some tutorials. I tend to have ALOT of trouble when it comes to sleeves

Ok, here is a really rough tutorial/explanation of how to do sleeves. Note that I think this only works for stretchy material.

Cut out two shapes out of stretchy material, sew up the sides (so you end up with two 'tubes' than you can slide over your arm. make sure the the t-shirt is inside out and the sleeve is right side out and slide the sleeve into the armhole of the shirt (put the seam of the sleeve so it is meeting the armpit seam of the shirt). They should be right sides together. sew around the armhole, then pull the sleeve out (the whole thing should be inside out now). Turn it the right way around and voila!!!! You have a sleeve. Then repeat for the other side. Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

(I hope that actually makes any sense?? Feel free to ask me anything if It doesn't)

Thank you sooooooo much everybody!!!!!!!!! Grin Grin Grin

They are all so wonderful!  I actually think that my favorite is the skirt.  It is sooo cute.

As far as the pocket goes, I think it would be really cute, especially if it was one of those single pockets that you can put both of your hands in (on the tummy part) if that makes any sense?  It is totally great just the way it is too.

You know that black tee that you reconed? Where was it from? Because I found some random t-shirt that has a really similar design on it and the front says campangela or something. Haha.

I used stretchy t-shirt like material for the top of the green skirt, so I can just slide it on, no zip needed.

I actually just used my normal sewing machine.  Grin
