Ack, no.  Maybe next time?  Now it's just damp, so I doubt putting it through would do me any good.

Maybe couldn't hurt?  I don't know, I'm just trying to help... at least you would feel like you were doing something! Smiley

One of my fiber friends tells me I should bake my yarns and rovings dry. 200 or "warm" in the oven until dry. I've done it once, and I watch the stuff to make sure it doesn't singe or something weird.

Thank you Cheesy  I do appreciate it, but (okay, I admit it) I'm totally afraid to throw them in only half-damp.

200?  Cool, thanks Grin A friend talked me into trying that tomorrow, if they're not dry by then.  Maybe if I leave out a bowl of milk or something tonight the fiber fairies will come out and fix my problem, right?

I know this is kind of a double post (as I posted in the fiber friday for april 20 in the spinning section), but This is the yarn I spun from the superwash merino roving that hoxierice sent me:

Spun into really fine singles and then navajo plied

spun into chunky singles and then plied back onto itsself.

thanks again hoxierice!  I think that the pink/purple might have to be made into a hat for a little person to put into the "my friends are going to have kids when I'm not ready for it" pile
