I'm not much of a knitter, but I do like to carry around my knitting needles in style, so I made this spiffy little case.  My grandmother recently passed down all of her knitting supplies, so I'm trying to learn.  I make a mean scarf, but that's about it so far!

It is 16" by 24", made from fat quarters, and has brown corduroy on the inside.  I used Brown Elastic Ribbon to keep it closed.

What do you think?  It is also my first quilting project.  I'm making a matching zippered pouch thingie for my crochet hooks.

Thanks!  I really appreciate the compliments!

The elastic ribbon actually came off of a box of chocolates I received for Christmas!  I stole it before it got thrown away.  I knew it would be good for something.
