Hi girls,

Here is a super-easy project for beginning fashion designers!

Just cut off a pair of jeans below the zipper in front and the pockets in back.  Zigzag along the raw edge to secure.   Cut the leg pieces into strips and seam them side by side.  Then pleat the strips and pin them to the bottom of the cut off skirt.  You can make the strip as wide or as narrow as you like.  Just eyeball the pleats - pin as you go.  You'll notice that mine are definitely not perfect!  Then stitch the pleated strip to the bottom of the skirt part and you are done.  I washed this one a couple of times.  Try it!

Thanks so much for your comment!  The jeans were just shredded from wear.  The fringe at the bottom is from washing.  If you leave a raw edge at the bottom of the pleated skirt, it will fringe in the wash.  Take care.
