Thanks so much for posting this.  I love these gloves, and picked up a pair to look at in a department store yesterday.  They were priced at $29!!! Before tax adds another three bucks!  Holy Moly!  I'm taking myself to my funky old sock drawer to have at it!  Thanks again!

Your welcome! Its a bit odd to make them out of socks, but they look nice.

Brewster,

I love the gloves!

"don't save me",
Don't you just hate it when you come up with something all your own and then EVERYONE starts copying you? It's happened to me, too, and I bet a whole lot of other craftsters have experienced it. Oh well, I guess that's inspiration to make something else original.

((((goes sock-hunting))))

Imitation is the highest form of flattery.

those who establish trends and have enviable personal style should take it as a big compliment when they get copied, instead of being bitter and angry about it  Grin

oh I've done this like a MILLION times... I have a drawer full to prove it, and to add to it... if you get knee high socks you can make nifty armwarmers... that is if you are still into that kinda thing.... (like me!!)
