Also for my kids' room.  Sorry no before pics, but for a long time this chest of drawers was painted dark maroon gloss. Very boring, quite chipped, and with teeny unpainted wooden drawers knobs that were loose and wobbly. And now look, pretty fine IMHO  Cheesy

The drawers and the red knobs were done with tester pots from B&Q, so 60p each, the blue was a tester pot with some dark blue acrylic mixed in, and the stars are gold acyrylic. The knobs were 50p each, and i chose em big to a) be easy for little hands to open and b) be able to withstand little feet using them as a climbing wall  Grin because they will, I'm sure!

It's 'aged' on purpose, which i think suits the style.  My 5yr old doesn't agree, she can't understand shabby chic just yet  Grin
