 Wink You're welcome!

And, I may be working on sewing up mine tomorrow. So, I should be able to add some directions for the head...and check the directions that I wrote!  Wink

I'll probably add the directions for the head in the same post as the other directions, so check back for 'em! And, if I get ambitious, maybe pics!

raaarrrrrr

*conversation between me and someone prone to being much smarter than me*
Me: OMG I haven't been able to find time to do all the stuff I should be doing.
Someone Smarter:  Well you won't find the time anymore, you have to make it.

So you have my undevided attention for the next hour!
And I have written in my diary to do the same in three days time and then in a week after that
Offtopic:  I usually hate planing stuff out in my diary but now all of a sudden I can't function withouth it, perhaps I am finally turning into an adult

PMS will be sent to EVERYBODY
anybody with more than half their packages declared recieved will get good feedback

p.s.
excuses for my absence are:
Work
Short illness
Family member sleeping on my couch
A Male  (very cute pets but so darn hard to train)
Best friends 18th birthday (simply buying gifts is so darn unthaughtfull, and on her 18th too)
Other swap obligations (urgurrrrrh late sending)
Somedays I just want to go home and read a book and thats all
Lazyness (because I am sure that if I actually tried with effort I would have been able to be a good orginiser and found the time)

hey everyone!

Just curious to see how many of us have sewn up our bears. I had hoped to do my over the easter weekend, alas my sewing machine and I had a major slight disagreement.

I get it back tomorrow (fixed I hope) and I hope to get to sewing this weekend.

I have mine 1/2 sewn together - just need to do the legs and arms.  I've been working full time since the last week of March and it's really cutting into my crafting time.  I usually only work casual and hadn't worked for 3 months then went into a whole month of full time.  It seems all I can do in the evenings is make supper and then sit down.  I'll eventually get it finished and take pictures.

I've started on my bear.... but, we're now in the process of moving so it's going to have to wait awhile longer before we're settled into the next place.

I had started on mine (I sewed the darts, interfaced where the joints would go, and cut the holes for the joints), and then got sick, and then backlogged with other commitments.

It is on my list of things to finish up over vacation. Although, I could probably knock a bit of it out of the way tonight...

ETA: I worked on it a bit more, but after I messed up the ears twice (first time I forgot to put them in, second time I forgot to turn them right side out before I put them in), I decided that it was time to stop. I did stitch the arms & legs and body pieces together though...

I was just wondering if anybody from my group ever received from chloe_hippy.  I'm pretty far away from her, so it's possible shipping is just taking a million years, but I'd really like to start on my bear, so I'm wondering if I should just give up and cut replacement parts.  So anyhow, I was wondering if those closer to her had ever received.  I don't want to cut parts and then have them arrive in the mail a few days later!
