I know there probably is some super easy way to make pendants like these. I know they're coated in resin or something, but i see people with these perfectly shaped hearts every time, and the textured (or lifted?) images on them, and I just feel stupid because I can't figure it out! can someone  clue me in?

I would try a shrinky dink colored with fabric paint (for the raised image). Then coat in resin or a few layers of mod podge {for those like me who dont have resin}.

of course i could be wrong. but with my limited materials thats whtd I do.

I "may" try my hand at this one as well but I was thinking about using clay and cutting the first one out in the heart form and then doing the skull seperately and then sandwiching them together. I looks like the teeth are actually drawn on so there are that many really small sections to cut. Then using a gloss coat to add that extra sheen!

looks to me like a cookie cutter heart with either a carved stamp pressed into it, or a heart that was carved down so the image shows.

i had a day off of school and this was buggin the crap outta me, so i decided to do some experimenting...

i just used purple and black sculpey clay, first i cut out the heart and then all the little pieces in purple and pressed 'em on, baked it, then i have this "faux mosaic tile glaze".. it's basically just glossy modge podge, i put two coats of that on and this is what i got..
