Its a CyCLOCKtopus, a strange creature with one eye which is actually a clock...with the ability to freeze time with only a glance! Hehe, my first entry.

Yeah, its Sculpey. I backed the watch piece inside the clay and it stopped working, but then started again...then stopped again, she's a part time CyCLOCKtopus, hehe. I painted it with normal acrylic paint, wish I had some glaze. Sad

How adorable!  Love seeing clay used in ways like that!!

(I assume that heating the clockworks may have caused some parts inside to warp a bit which may have been plastic, but not sure.  For future clockworks, you might want to make the hole from the back side, then just push the works in after baking the clay? ... maybe glue a piece of felt or a disk of clay over the hole if you wanted.
Or you could make the overlapping part ''mouth-chin" separately, then bake that part with the main part --no clockwork tho-- using a release like lots of cornstarch or even a tissue placed between the clock and the separate part... then after baking, remove that piece, push in the clock from the front, then glue the the extra piece to the front with 2-part epoxy glue, E-6000, etc.... might work better if that piece were just a rim though instead of a nose/mouth/etc.)

Really neat!
