Please bookmark this thread and/or post here. All updates will be made here and this will help you to keep up with everything.

IF YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE, REMEMBER TO SEND YOUR INFO TO THE ORGANIZER VIA PRIVATE MESSAGE AND NOT TO REPLY WITH IT HERE.

How This Swap Works:
Please READ CAREFULLY! This swap works differently than most!

Try to imagine a chain.  The first link is the first person whose wish list is on page 1 (Person A) - that will be the craftster member who was the very last wish list from ongoing wish swap 18.

Now, we want to put another link in the chain.  People will read that list and see if there is something they want to/can make from the list.

Someone (Person B) will claim Person A for some item on their wish list.  They post a reply to the thread that says I claim Person A for [item].  This is my X claim (however many times they have picked someone for example, "this is my fourth wish, with one sent, and three received, (meaning that this is the fourth claim they've made, one is in transit to it's destination, and three of the items have been received by the people they previously claimed).  Also add your location, and any preferences or aversions I live in Wisconsin USA, I am a vegetarian, and I am allergic to wool.

IT'S REALLY IMPORTANT THAT YOU REPLY WITH YOUR STATUS WHEN YOU CLAIM SOMEONE!  This means you need to post who you are claiming and for what, how many claims you have made, including how many in transit and how many received, and your location/preferences/aversions.

Then comes the fun part!  After the introduction, Person B is the last link in the chain, and they post their wish list!!!  YOU CAN HAVE AS MANY ITEMS ON YOUR WISH LIST AS YOU WANT, HOWEVER YOU MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF SIX.  THE MORE ITEMS YOU LIST, THE BETTER YOUR CHANCES OF BEING CLAIMED QUICKLY.

(Please have your list ready, this swap moves very quickly!  Please include your country at the start of your wish list). Person B will also PM Person A to get her address so they can mail the item when it is finished.

Along comes Person C, who claims Person B for something on their list and the chain is built, link by link.  (If Person C wanted to make Person B a purse AND a stuffie, that would still count as ONE WISH.)  Then they post their list, and so on.

When you want to make a claim, you can ONLY pick from the very last wish list in the chain.  You can't pick anyone else in the chain - you can only connect to the very end of the chain, which is that last wish list posted.

Friends of Craftster are allowed 3 wishes at one time, others are allowed 2 wishes.  If this is your first swap, you are only allowed one wish until your craft is received.  Do not choose over your given limit.
Become a Friend of Craftster!  Go here: http://www.craftster.org/subscribe.php

If you are at your limit of wishes, you can choose again once one of your partners receives, NOT when you send.
***Do not claim someone unless you can fulfill that wish to a high caliber***

Let's keep the quality high here. I don't want to receive PMs with people concerned over the lack of quality of their items.  Please, just work your hardest to keep the bar high on the quality of items here!  Don't choose just for the sake of choosing; choose to make someone else a really AWESOME wish!

Now if the thread gets in a rut for a few days/hours, the person who made the last wish should add to their list if they can think of anything else, until someone decides to craft for them.
Unsure of where to find wish ideas?  Try the previous ongoing wish swap galleries or any other gallery on craftster.  Look through your fellow crafters wist lists.

Sending/Communicating/Feedback:
YOU HAVE TWO WEEKS TO GET YOUR ITEM OUT THE DOOR.

Please be communicative if you are having any issues. If you communicate you still need to send your item in a timely manner.  Communication does not mean you can send as late as you want.  After one week past the deadline you will have negative feedback.  This is only temporary as it will be changed back once you fulfill your obligation for late item(s).  Do not choose to craft an item if you do not think you can meet these deadlines.

THERE WILL BE FEEDBACK FOR THIS SWAP
I will be giving feedback in the following way:
-  great swapper: for those who follow all the rules
-  good/poor communication:  where applicable
-  sent late/early: where applicable
-  no dc number: failed to comply with the rule about using a delivery confirmation number for packages within your own country
- didn't post pictures: failed to post pictures of what they received without an adequate explanation to their partner

Thanks for choosing me!!!!

I'm a 33 yo SAHM with 4 kids living in Acton, Ontario trying to fit my art-making in between dinners, naps and playdates....my favorite colours are black, red, purple, cobalt.  I really dislike pastels.  I adore skulls, greenmen, cool stripey-legged dolls, medieval stuph, and general goth-y goodness.  I love ephemera, embellishing, and anything old and crusty....yum. I've become an ATC-aholic!!! But duct-tape and I are in a "business, not for pleasure" relationship...I use too much of it around the house to fix stuff

Ok, someone's gotta get this started... may as well be me.

I claim Bhean for the crocheted choker on her wist.

This is my first claim, I'm located in Wisconsin, USA.

wish list!

hand painted yarn - do you love to Kool-Aid dye?  i'm in an apartment, and I'm massively afraid to try it here... so if you love to dye the yarn (specially the painted technique) and wanted to send the results, I'd probably be your best friend for life!

Noro Kureyon yarn - any leftovers - parts of a ball, a full ball - there's a blanket on knitty.com I'd love to make, and it uses a lot of this - so if you have any leftovers, I'd love to be able to turn them into a blanket!

felting yarn - bright colors, reds, burgundy, blues are favorites  << got some amazing wool today from xladyluckx, and i want more!!  i have so many projects in mind...

some sort of organizer for my cabled knitting needles... I have the straights and douple pointeds under control (mostly), but the cables are a whole different problem!

flannel jammy pants like Sevs made - all of mine have shrunk in length, and i have long legs - please PM me for sizing

squares to make a quilt - 6" x 6", please.  I'll piece everything together (and post the results). <<< Thanks, xLadyLuckx, Groschveaux and Grieney - and yes, I need more!!

handspun yarn - any color, any weight, as long as it's enough to make something out of it << got some fabulous yarn from the efforts of la_crystelle and craftykate, and I"m hooked!  must have more!!

Unusual writing weapons... i mean, i don't want it to leak all over my purse, but if you had working fountain pens that you just don't use anymore, I'd be delighted to put them back to work!

anything inspired by my wist  http://www.wists.com/Dulcinea

almost anything mickey mouse (but not minnie mouse or other characters, please)

almost anything dragonflys - i really like dragonflies

thick athletic socks with slouchy cuffs - on my wist, there's a pair for the style I like

anything to decorate my BR - colors are off white, sea-foam green, ocean shades through to a toasty light brown

squares to make an afghan -  6" x 6", I think.  I decided I wanted a new afghan, so if you wanted to use up stash, I'll put them all together

Anything Philadelphia eagles football for my son, who loves them

long-shots - I could really use some trousers and/or button down shirts for work - PM for sizing

turtleneck shirts for winter - almost anything, I live in them in the wintertime - PM for sizing

... right... about me.  I'm the old lady in the crowd, the one peering over the bifocals.  I have 2 teenagers, and my day job is a computer programmer.  I have no allergies, no issues with animal products, would prefer to avoid religion/religious articles and politics at all costs.... my favorite colors are the jewel tones, think ruby, sapphire, emerald... i don't do terribly well with pastels.  We live in an apartment, where space is always at a premium... so small things that sit on tables and shelves and don't do anything except collect dust aren't a great thing here.

Thanks in advance to anyone who chooses me

I'm not on the list yet, but I got a PM from SevsOnlyGirl saying I was approved, so I'd like to claim la_chrystelle.

I'd like to claim you for some roving for wetfelting, and possibly some felted beads.

I'm a 30 something woman who lives in Indiana.  I just bought a new house where I live with my new husband and our two doggies.

I'm allergic to cats (and dogs and lots of other things) but as long as the item is washable, it's ok if you have allergants around.

My favorite color is green, but I really like any of the bright primary and secondary colors, especially all together in rainbow like patterns.

My wishlist:

Anything with monkeys, rainbow brite, carebears, or "vintage" strawberry shortcake on it

Handspun Yarn (especially the funky novelty yarns, i'm just now learning to make those)

Roving, or any kind of spinnable materials, especially handpainted, any type of fiber

Recycled Sari Silk Yarn

Recycled Sari Silk Waste for spinning

Any kind of nylon, firestar, angelina (thanks gatheredthreads), etc that I can blend into my spinning fibers

Any kind of other neat fibers or additions that I can add to my yarns to make fun novelty yarns

Kool Aid in funky flavors (colors) that you can't get easily in the US.

A needle felting starter kit

A silk spinning starter kit

A cotton (cellulose) dying starter kit

I'd love to learn to crochet those little stuffies (I'm not going to try and spell it), but I've never had any luck learning to crochet.  So any kind of super super easy stuffie pattern and 'crocheting for complete idiots' kit would be great

My dogs always appreciate puppy toys, the "big" one weighs about 25 lbs and loves balls.  The little one is only about 9 lbs and only likes things she can eat.  They both like blankets, beds, pillows, anything they can snuggle in.

I don't have alot on my wists yet, but anything from there is also great.
