I finished my two-tone shrug awhile ago.. and haven't had time to post a picture. well here it is.

I haven't attempted any other projects from the book yet. I had liked the Alexandria ballerina top too.. I don't know if I want to attempt it now. Sad

I have been on a Craftster hiatus for a while, but I thought I'd post my progress on Bluebell.  I've got all the knitting done!  Just need to seam and block.  Here's a pic:

The shape is TOTALLY wonky.  If it doesn't block out as I hoped I'm going to be very disappointed about all the time I have wasted!  But, I have a lof faith in the miracles of blocking... so wish me luck.

Bluebell is FINISHED!!!  I call her bluebell from hell because this project was FROM HELL!  I was a total maniac!  It was one thing after another - I even lost my yarn at one point.  Lol.  So, I'm happy it's done.  Blocking worked miracles!

I used the same cascade 200 tweed from the book and it took up four skeins, I fiddled with the sizing a bit, but it was essentially just the small size.  I go into every inane detail on my blog if you just can't get enough bluebell from hell war stories: http://spicyknitter.blogspot.com/2007/12/fo-bluebell.html

'ello there, I haven't been posting in this KAL but I've been watching it. I just finished the Cropped Cardigan with Leaf Ties and thought I might show you:

The sides really aren't uneven, it was just sitting funny.

(that's an "I'm-concentrating-on-the-camera-didn't-sleep-last-night-when's-the-timer-going-off?" -face)

my boobs don't quite fit in the sweater, but that's OK cause they're really not supposed to. This is for my cousin who is quite a bit younger and smaller than I am.

yarn: Dark Horse Fantasy, 50/50 Acrylic/Nylon. Sooooo freaking soft.
How long did it take: About a week and a half. The last week of that was finals week. Why no, I don't sleep and I multi-task a whole lot. Why do you ask?
I think I'm going to make another one of these for myself sometime, it's soooo cute and sooo fast and while the neckline is a bit fiddly, the hems are SO.FREAKING.CUTE. and pretty fast and easy to seam up.
