Fitted Knits-along ?

well, i love stefanie's style & patterns, but some of these will just not look flattering on me (like the puffy sleeve cardigan).  i do think i will knit the drop stitch tank, but add sleeves to it (and shaped armholes instead of straight).  and i need a cute little cardi that will work while i'm pregnant to go over a dress for a couple weddings i have this spring/summer so i think i'll make the carie cropped cardi.  but again, no bulky yarn on this girl, especially while pregnant!  so i'm modifying it to be knit with worsted weight yarn.  we'll see how it works.

You guys have totally motivated me. I might go pick it up tonight. I just got a borders coupon for 25% off which would make it about 15 bucks. Instant gratification and no shipping fees. I'm loving the wrap cardigan I keep seeing pics of.

i just finished the body for the carie cardigan.  its a tad small and i have way more yarn than i need so i think i'm going to knit it again in the next size up and see which one i like better.  i substituted burleyspun for the magnum and its not quite as thick.  even with the few extra stitches i put in, its not quite big enough.   luckily its like 25 rows of knitting so its super fast.  even too small, i love it!

I am going to join in with this as I bought a copy of this on Saturday.....

I am working on the Back to School U-necked Vest....  got nearly all of the bottom ribbing done on this now...... will post a progress pic later as soon as I have found out where my hubby has hidden his camera!  I am not doing it in the recommended yarn - have subbed some Knitpicks Wool of the Andes in a maple syrup colour (gorgeous gingery brown)....  it is working out very well so far......

there are lots of other patterns in the book I just HAVE to make as well....

I got my copy and am dying to start o the Airy Wrap-Around, but I have *NO* idea what yarn to use. I couldn't find any lane cervinia "softer", and although I've heard people have purchased some on ebay I didn't have any luck. Does anybody know of any good/relatively cheap subs? I'll probably go to my LYS and harrass them today
