An actual working rendition based on Dali's painting "The Persistence of Memory" as seen here (thanks to L-train for correcting me): http://www.cheniere.org/misc/time.htm



The clock hands are warped:




The bottom clock:


The back:


It really works, here is where you put the batteries or adjust the time for the top clock:

(for the bottom clock, you have to lift it up and do it on the underside.)

The clocks are made from a t-shirt and the whole thing is composed of foam core.
