Hi All

I am a very newbie (from Australia) and have been browsing through your wonderful site for the last week or so.  I do love a challenge and as soon as I saw this one I had heaps of ideas whip their way through my mind.  But settled on this one as my favourite.  I have posted pics of it on my blog at

http://aroundthehomefarm.blogspot.com/

Hope that you all like it

Jane

WOW!  i really like the rustic wood, and the painting, and the photo as the clock face.  ok, well, that was just about everything, wasnt it?  you did a great job putting it all together.

Okay, I'm a sucker for sentimentality! I love this clock...it almost made me cry...now I wish I had a pic of my gramps so I could make one...

Power is strength and the ability to see yourself through your own eyes and not through the eyes of another. It is being able to place a circle of power at your own feet and not take power from someone else's circle.

Wow again, would love to see a pic of your gramps - it is said that everyone has a twin somewhere in the world.  How cool to show my Pop his.  LOL.  We have a Rotary Art Show & Craft show on this weekend and hope that I still have time to enter it in.

Here's a pic from about a year ago... I don't live near him, so don't get to se him much...

Some of my older pics look a lot more like your grandfather Smiley

Good luck with the Rotary Art Show!

Wow - I can see what you mean about them being alike - cool

Took my clock to the show yesterday (judging today), I rang first to find out if I could still put my grandfather clock in the show as a late entry, not a problem - YAY.  But the funny thing was that when I got there (really really late yesterday) I went in to see if I wasn't to late - nope - good, go out to get the clock out of the car, turn around and there are three people and a trolley to help me get my Grandfather Clock into the hall.  We all had a good laugh about it, and they where really impressed.  Now I have to wait until tomorrow night to find out how I went

Nice play on words, and the black and white photo + weathered wood makes it so timeless (har har, right?) and beautiful!
