Here's my clock!
I've always wanted a George Nelson Atomic Ball clock (popular in the 50's and 60's). I finally decided to make one, when I was trying to think of something large to hang in my living room above my entertainment niche. And then this challenge was announced! My DH gets major credit for this one, since he did all the cutting and drilling. But the design adaptation was mine, and I did the painting. Smiley
The clock is made entirely of wood and metal, measures 34" in diameter and is fully functional, not to mention great for us adults who are too blind to read the clock on the cable box!

Elegant and classy.  Great colors.  The very long hands are so neat.
