Hi everyone! I just got my first sewing machine (of my adult life anyhow), and I am having trouble figuring out what my first project should be. I tried to make a slouchy hobo bag-from the tutorial on craftster and it was too confusing. then i tried to make a shirt from a pattern (it was labeled very easy) and that was too confusing. My mom is going to help me figure out the pattern, but in the mean time i would really like to make something.

can anyone suggest a simple project for me?

Have you tried the lolita dress by lamby? Here is the link: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=77268.0 It is an easy dress.
