I have a paintbrush, and I'm not afraid to use it!

This is the last set of pictures for today, sorry for all the posts! I'm posting the whole picture at a small resolution so you have some hope of loading them all Tongue Please check out my Myspace blog if you want to see details. I'm breaking this up into a few different posts, so if you like what you see, check out the others!

Mermaids

Seaside Beauty

Sitting on a rock offshore, this lovely mermaid gazes at herself in one of her treasures, a silver looking-glass. Her long, flowing hair blows in the sea breeze, and a little starfish comes to sit with her.

Edition number: 1/25
Image size: 8x10
Paper size: 9x11

Copper Mermaid

This little mermaid warrior clutches her trident, ready for action. Her tail is the color of copper, and her beautiful flowing hair contrasts with the deep green of patina.

Edition number: 1/25
Image size: 5x7
Paper size: 6x8

Those are wonderful. I like the descriptions you put beneath them. What is the white writing going across the pictures? I can just barely see it, but I can't read it.

Really cute. I love the hair on the first one and the ears on both. Those scales must have taken you forever!

Thanks so much everyone! Yes, the scales took forever to draw and paint, but I'm glad I did it, it makes a huge difference in the picture Smiley

The white writing is a watermark, I tried to keep it light enough to not be distracting, but it says Battlemaiden Studio. Details of the pictures without watermarks are on my Myspace page, I didn't post them here to keep the number of images down.

Thanks for looking!
